I like Twitter as a way to easily connect directly with people.
Why did you become a journalist?
I started Music Business Radio as a way to market myself. It has since evolved to something else entirely, although it does help market me.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Forget the filters. Set up a blog or podcast and go directly to people.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Recording studio, gym, walking the dog...
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Like any "entertainment" industry, people see the outside of the music business, but rarely the inside. This gives a false perception.
