What was your first job as a journalist?

A high school coop at Nelson Express in B.C.'s Kootenays, writing on arts & youth. First paid gig was Gulf Islands Driftwood in 2001

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, I own an electric typewriter but never used it for reporting, just dabbling in short story.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Serving the public interest, holding power to account, exposing the truth

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

MacBook Pro, Canon 5DII SLR camera, iPhone recorder, occasionally a spiral notepad, and most importantly my 2Do App to keep track of it all
