Webb: From local office to US Senate, every race is important in 2022 midterms
It’s said that elephants have long memories. Rejuvenated Republican voters need to have long- and short-term memories — starting with a long-term recollection of better economic times before the Biden administration. Short-term memory is easily fulfilled: Americans need only fill up their gas tanks on the way to the grocery store. Democrats, to the contrary, are hoping their voters have only short-term memories — or perhaps just blind faith.
Webb: Democrats weaponize power
With credit to my fellow SiriusXM Patriot host, Andrew Wilkow: Republicans hold elections, Democrats hold power. Last week, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) laid out the Republican commitment to America. It’s the new version of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s (R-Ga.) Contract with America. To be fair, many conservatives are asking the question: Is the current House minority leader capable of being Newt Gingrich?
Webb: Creating a medical crisis Original
Now that Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has announced his retirement at the end of 2022, we should ask ourselves: Is the pandemic over? Here is a second question of importance: Are we creating a medical crisis — or crises — in America? First is the point of a medical crisis society.
Webb: Abortion - religion, science, Constitution, policy
This is, and has been, a conversation I've had on and off the radio many times. It requires intellectual thought and personal beliefs to be properly placed whether in agreement or disagreement. Sometimes, there isn't an answer. In my decades of talk radio, I found it almost cathartic to honestly say there isn't an answer that will satisfy a personal belief. Some will read this article and assign a position to me. If so, you did not grasp my intent.
Desalination discharge, not plant, could move
By Port Aransas South Jetty Staff | on July 27, 2022 David Webb Reporter The Port Aransas Conservancy (PAC) wants the Port of Corpus Christi to redesign a desalination permit it is seeking to dump the discharge offshore instead of into the water off Harbor Island. The conservancy’s plan would call for the effluent to be piped 15 miles offshore into the Gulf of Mexico. The water taken into the plant for treatment would […]
Pier lures anglers, surfers to clash
By Port Aransas South Jetty Staff | on July 27, 2022 David Webb Reporter Port Aransas is a fishing town and a surfing town, but the two groups of people sometimes get in each other’s way, especially near Horace Caldwell Pier. Chief of Police Scott Burroughs acknowledged that disputes do occur. “The last couple of weeks we have had at least two calls involving conflicts between fishermen and surfers near the pier,” he said. […]

Most of the vacancies were filled by existing members whose terms had just expired and wanted to be reappointed. Some are new members who want to get involved in city government as volunteers. Desalination discharge offshore?
Port may entertain conservancy’s idea By Port Aransas South Jetty Staff | on July 20, 2022 David Webb Reporter The Port of Corpus Christi might scrap its plans to seek a desalination plant discharge permit on Harbor Island in favor of moving the effluent through a pipeline offshore before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Board (TCEQ) rules on the permit, according to a Port Aransas Conservancy official. Conservancy President James King said that although two judges with the […]

But now Shawn Keith Fey, 54, is headed back to state prison on a new conviction and the possible revocation of his parole. Fey is incarcerated in the Guadalupe County […]

Webb: A warning from Canada
Freedom is one country away from extinction. Once may be coincidence, twice is curious at a minimum, and a multiyear pattern of behavior is a plan. An emboldened leftist movement is pushing socialist governance and worse in the U.S., to our north in Canada, south in Mexico, throughout South America and across the globe. They have allies in the Chinese Communist Party, the criminal cartels and other transnational bad actors, governmental or otherwise.

Holiday weekend good for merchants By Port Aransas South Jetty Staff | on June 08, 2022 By David Webb Reporter Memorial Day visitors left many doing business in Port Aransas with the same impression this year — “it’s going to be a good summer.” The Port Aransas Tourism Bureau and Chamber of Commerce had anticipated a decrease in tourism for the holiday summer kickoff because of concerns about the economy and inflation, but a “strong crowd” showed up spending freely […]
Webb: Time to replace the GOP leadership
First let’s examine the Democratic leadership as of today and look to their future. The Democrat Party moving further left should be no surprise. The policy shifts in the Biden administration are the result, but a big reason is simply generational change. Look at all the 70- to 80-year-old elected Democrats in leadership positions. This is at both the state and federal level. The younger progressives know this.
Webb: A new day in media, thanks to Elon
Given the latest news about Elon Musk buying Twitter, these are good days to talk about the principle of free speech.
Webb: Politics over policing
It’s election season, and with the entire House of Representatives up for your votes, along with some senators, governorships and other down-ballot seats, Democrats seek to maintain their power and drag America down the progressive path. This latest Biden budget proposal is nothing more than a boondoggle by Fagin and the Artful Dodger(s) in the Democratic-controlled White House, Senate and House of Representatives. In this scenario, President Biden is Fagin, the political criminal mastermind.
Webb: Republican.
This is not for those of you on the left. I don't care what you think. I was born a black man, I'm still a black man and I make my own choices politically. I became a Republican at a young age by exercising critical thinking and determining what best aligned with my cultural, economic and political beliefs.
The Democrats Are Using Pretzel Logic
The Democrats Are Using Pretzel Logic I'm pro-science, pro-freedom and for the right of Americans to educate themselves and make reasonable decisions while understanding that there may be consequences we do not control. Read Full Article »
Webb: Pretzel logic
In two examples, how the left gets their way while American citizens pay the price. The accusation will be that this is conspiracy. The difference between conspiracy and what is real is often what is possible or obvious in the outcome. I'm not into conspiracies. Reality is much easier to deal with. In Seattle, “defund the police” has been a battle cry since the occupation of public property during the leftist and anarchists riots, which was endorsed by Mayor Jenny Durkin.
Webb: Big Tech won't change; the tech sector can
Ihave always been a fan of capitalism and “fair” competition combined. It is one thing to shout at the Big Tech wind but more effective to have a long-term competitive strategy. In recent years, many new social media platforms have emerged. Some are instant hits but all too often geared for a particular audience. My belief is not cancel culture or simply counter-platform. I believe in more voices, not less. To be successful, the technology and the organization policy must align and be open to all.
Webb: Who's in charge?
Democrats abandon the Hill and too many politicians abandon America. The question of who is in charge is often better explained by recognizing the agendas in play. For different reasons and for a long time the political class in Washington. D.C., has been at odds with the American people from all areas of political identification. The political class makes deals under the guise of bipartisanship when the only deal should be one that is more beneficial than harmful.
Voice of Power
Cory McGee (photo by Yevhen Gulenko) Houston Grand Opera singer Cory McGee muses that any kid who aspires to sing on an opera stage needs the strength of a long-distance runner and the mind of a seasoned linguist to meet the physical and mental demands of an opera career. The 25-year-old bass, who identifies as biracial and pansexual, appears to be up to the strenuous task before him.
Webb: The fork in the road
Americans can now more clearly see two systems in play. Government, law, culture and politics are primary areas to observe and address them. Everyone must be involved at whatever level they are capable to keep core Republican principles combined with conservative governance in place.
Webb: Rebellion not revolution
We need a rebellion not a revolution in America. If the rebellion is unsuccessful, I fear what a revolution would look like. It would be bloody and deadly. That said, I still believe that our constitutional republic will prevail in either scenario. First let’s make an important distinction or two between rebellion and revolution. A rebellion is the action or process of resisting authority, control or convention.

Webb: Institutionalizing and ignoring bias and prejudice
The Biden White House has released a strategy for battling domestic terror and, as expected, white supremacy and militia violent extremists are listed as presenting the most persistent and lethal threats to America. There is no surprise here.

Webb: Leftists and underlying fraud
© Getty Images Smart phone screen display of Facebook logo Some time ago a caller to my SiriusXM Patriot radio show brought up the underlying fraud when leftists, progressives or elitists know their ideas have never worked or ever will work. I've had time to think read and analyze and here are some points to consider. It's not just fraud but obvious propaganda propped up by lies.
Webb: Leftists and underlying fraud
Some time ago a caller to my SiriusXM Patriot radio show brought up the underlying fraud when leftists, progressives or elitists know their ideas have never worked or ever will work. I’ve had time to think read and analyze and here are some points to consider. It’s not just fraud but obvious propaganda propped up by lies. Propaganda takes an element of truth and perverts it to create a narrative that sounds believable until you look at the foundation.
Webb: Don't blame me - I didn't vote for the left
Iam living the American Dream, and I want others to live theirs. It’s common sense if we focus on principles and policies that work for most, if not all. There is no perfect and we can’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We’re going to see a lot more in the coming days and weeks. For example, foreign policy issues, South and Central American migration issues. For the reader, examine the various issues assailing us as a culture and political system.
Webb: #FreeBritney movement big issue for Nichelle Nichols and many Americans
© Courtesy of Archangel Films LA (NV) Angelique Fawcette and Nichelle Nichols The #FreeBritney (Spears) movement raised the flag of the dubious issue of conservatorships on Capitol Hill and has the attention of minority members Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) of the House Judiciary Committee. Over the past few decades, conservatorships have been exposed as institutions rife with fraud, theft and abuse, all under the aegis of probate courts.
Webb: Stepping outside of domestic politics
Last week, I interviewed a regular contributor to my show, Bill Parker. Bill is a national security expert for more than four decades, the CEO of Efficient Ships LLC, former CEO of the EastWest Institute and a retired senior naval officer. David Webb: Last year you attended DAVOS and the Munich Security Conference in person, where you lead a meeting with over a dozen heads of state.
Webb: GOP political war footing
This is the Republican Party’s chance to prove that they can fight, and fight with a unified front. The reality in politics especially in Washington, D.C., is that you don’t always win and when in the minority in all three branches of government you won’t likely win. This fight is not only inside the Beltway but about Americans whether on the coast or in flyover country as it’s often referred to.

The inauguration of Joe BidenJoe BidenTrump grants clemency to more than 100 people, including Bannon Scalise bringing Donna Brazile as guest to Biden inauguration Sidney Powell withdraws 'kraken' lawsuit in Georgia MORE as the 46th President will be virtual due to the pandemic. There are some 1,000 invitations for Congress, past presidents and families. Washington, D.C., is in a bunker with thousands of troops and law enforcement because of the Jan. 6 riot.
Webb: Election integrity is America's survival
© Greg Nash Webb: Election integrity is America's survival A straightforward question for everyone. Doesn't matter whether you're a Trump supporter, Democrat, Libertarian, however you identify politically, or not at all. Do you want the presidential election or any other ballots to be counted accurately and that only legal ballots are counted?
