Abstract Studies have shown how air pollution and temperature affect blood pressure. We investigated the combined effect of air pollution and temperature on blood pressure in a cohort of older German women. We conducted a cross-sectional analysis of systolic (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) data from follow-up 3 (2012–2013) of the Study on the influence of Air pollution on lung function inflammation and ageing (SALIA) cohort.
