Background Out-of-home food consumption has become an integral component of contemporary dietary patterns, particularly in urban contexts. Evidence suggests that eating outside the home is associated with diet quality, nutritional intake, and broader public health outcomes. However, Brazil lacks validated multidimensional instruments capable of comprehensively assessing the economic, behavioral, and experiential determinants underlying this behavior.

3.1 Study Selection and Handling The search yielded 16,750 records. Of these, 82 trials met the eligibility criteria and were included, with 71 contributing to the meta-analyses (Fig. 1). A list of excluded studies is provided in Supplementary Material D. One crossover trial was included [31], and its sample was considered as a single cluster in the analyses. Background Cancer prevalence continues to rise in the United States with a projected shortage of oncologists in the workforce. Despite this need, medical schools often lack oncology-focused education in their curriculum. Duke’s Cancer Care Experience (CCE) is a multi-disciplinary elective designed to meet the growing demand for highly competent, compassionate, and diverse physicians of all medical specialties who are aware of the unique needs of patients diagnosed with cancer.
