A new club dedicated to the world of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) began at PVCC last semester, offering students a fresh opportunity to explore diverse gaming experiences beyond the popular Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). The TTRPG Club, spearheaded by student Lucy Sams, aims to create an inclusive and engaging environment for newcomers and seasoned players alike. Sams has been passionate about TTRPGs since they started playing Dungeons and Dragons in 2017.

William Shakespeare wrote, “All the world’s a stage,” in his famous comedy As You Like It. This summer, the play will be performed on a special stage in Staunton: the Blackfriars Playhouse. This theater is operated by the American Shakespeare Association and is the first-ever recreation of Shakespeare’s indoor theater. As You Like It will run from May 28 to August 8.

The SPCA and PVCC Student Government Association (SGA) drew in many students and faculty alike with puppies, warm heated blankets, winter beverages, and vibes on Dec. 10, 2025. Located on the East Patio, the vibes were assisted by the hay bale seating in a ring around the puppies for greatest interaction, brightly lit string lights, and practical hand warmers and blankets.
