DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA – Cities all across California are wrangling with the state Department of Finance to get permission to sell public properties owned by their former redevelopment agency. Millions of dollars of real estate are hung up over an inability of cities to sell those properties. One city did something no other city has done. It went ahead and sold property without Sacramento ’s permission.

Elvis Left The Building And So Did the Artwork 4.4/5 (88%) 5 votes Artist Says Art Belonged to Elvis Presley Home, Not Reno Fontana Desert VortexElvis Presley Sculpture Installation PALM SPRINGS, CA – The iconic silhouette of Elvis Presley bolted to the chimney soon became a symbol that this was the home of Elvis, or at least that it had been. The signature artwork was taken down when the person that lived there removed it when he was evicted. Now the tenant and the art are gone.
