Why did you become a journalist?
Because I wanted to share my love of travel, food and culture.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Wrote an article about a McDonalds opening near the school when they had only recently come to the UK (yes I went to school a long time ago).
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Follow your interests and passions. Use life experiences to inform your writing. Don’t give up if your pitches are not immediately successfu.

That attending press nights and exhibition openings is glamorous.
