What was your first job as a journalist?
Besides being a contributor, my first weekly column was for a local newspaper covering my community in 90 words max.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I learned to type on a typewriter. My mother made me do it.
How is social media changing news?
Faster, shorter, snarkier, and highly competitive for audiences.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Commission me to write a series, rather than a one-off story.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist to document my cutting-edge projects. I learned long ago that If it isn't documented, it's as if it never happened.
