What was your first job as a journalist?
I started over a decade ago as an intern at one of the largest media publications in India — Zee News.
What's your favorite social network?
Reddit. It still feels like the internet before everything became driven by trends, algorithms, and performance. One of the few platforms that still feels true to its roots.
Why did you become a journalist?
Growing up, I was always full of curiosity and questions, but it was also my courage as a child that slowly shaped my views and opinions. Journalism felt like the most honest place to give my voice freedom without ever compromising that courage.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was actually the head of my journalism department in college, and also topped the magazine making-running section of my degree.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't stop at one beat. Do not restrict yourself as a writer. Challenge yourself by taking on different roles and you'll never hate your job.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out in the wild.

NYT, Bloomberg, The Washington Post
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
People think crypto is too complicated for regular readers. But at its core, it’s about institutional behaviour, policy, and capital flows.
