Four weeks ago, December corn futures spent a couple of days just better than $5/bushel. There were questions that if we could surpass a support level, would there be blue sky ahead for the market. Turns out there was no more blue sky, and shortly after, the high corn started to move in the opposite direction. Instead of $5, this week December corn is a little less than $4.50. Monday's session was particularly interesting. Hitting a low of $4.41, the corn price is flirting with historic lows.
