1. Introduction Ganoderma lucidum, or lingzhi, is a well-known medical fungus. Due to its multiple bioactivities, such as immune modulation, anti-cancer functions, and liver protection [1], many dietary supplements have been developed from lingzhi and are now highly popular on the market. Most of the raw materials are derived from the fruit body and the mycelium (or the fermentation powder) of G. lucidum [2], with the same active constituents, polysaccharides, and triterpenes [3].
