Recent advancements in accident-tolerant fuel (ATF) technology aim to enhance the safety and performance of commercial nuclear reactors, specifically within the APR-1400 model used in Korea. This study investigates the application of metallic microcell UO -Mo pellets, designed to improve thermal conductivity, combined with chromium-based cladding for enhanced resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion.
