Abstract Traditional medicine is the sum total of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on the theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to different cultures. More than 80% of the global population used traditional and complementary medicine as primary healthcare. A few studies have explored about traditional medicine. However, the evidence is not well addressed determinants are directly linked to perceived beliefs and challenges of traditional medicine.
