Cardiomyocyte-derived GPX4 stabilizes BNIP3 to facilitate mitophagy and mitigate myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury
Abstract GPX4 is a crucial regulator of ferroptosis, yet its role in mitochondrial dysfunction during myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MI/RI) is unclear. This study aims to clarify the effect and molecular mechanisms of GPX4 in MI/RI. We analyzed the spatiotemporal dynamics of GPX4 during MI/RI and observed high expression levels in border and normal areas but a significant reduction in the ischemic region utilizing spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics, and single-cell sequencing.
Coupling nitrate electrochemical reduction and nitrite oxidation of ethanol for acetamide synthesis - Nature Communications
Abstract Electrochemical acetamide synthesis under ambient conditions offers a sustainable route for converting waste nitrate into valuable chemicals. Conventional methods, limited to standalone reduction or oxidation processes, typically achieve low Faradaic efficiencies (<40%) and yields (<0.2 mmol h⁻¹ cm⁻²). Here, we present a tandem reaction system coupling cathodic reduction and anodic oxidation in a full-cell electrolyzer to enhance acetamide production.

Research on Modeling Method of Testability Design Based on Static Automatic Fault Tree
1. Introduction Human-made mechatronic systems are becoming increasingly complicated and are pervading all aspects of human society. Some are labeled as safety-critical systems (SCSs) due to their close connection with human safety or significant property, such as pacemakers, intelligent electric vehicles, automation management systems in nuclear power plants, or large weapon systems.

A Multi-Feature Fusion-Based Method for Crater Extraction of Airport Runways in Remote-Sensing Images
1. Introduction As an important support for the Air Force to carry out air strike missions, the airport is the primary target of military strikes. Over the years, extensive research has been carried out on the damage to airport runways caused by various weapons [1,2]. A blockade is an important sign of the destruction of an airport runway and the crater size on the surface of the runway is an important factor that affects the probability of blockade [3].
