The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma said at least five people were injured Wednesday after a fire broke out on the tribe’s Capitol grounds in Tvshka Homma. “This evening at approximately 6 p.m. a fire broke out at the Capitol Grounds while preparing for our annual Boom in the Valley,” Randy Sachs, a spokesman for the tribe said Wednesday evening. Sachs said the incident caused at least five injuries. “The cause of the accident is not yet known, but an investigation is underway,” Sachs said.
