Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have my grandpa's old electric Brother in my closet back in my parents house.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email me, since Twitter DMs have broken down. I'm open to being contacted on Bluesky, it might take a minute though.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs mainly.
Who do you wish followed you?
People interested in games, gay stuff, film, editors.
Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to write deeper about movies and expose people to unique ones they may not have heard of, as well as the people behind them.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I worked at my college newspaper, where I mostly did film and tv reviews, but I also did the occasional album, video game, and interview.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The most recent David Lynch piece, but I think the Under The Skin and Riddle of Fire pieces are the ideal of what I want to do.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Send lots of emails, and keep on sending them.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime.
What's your favorite drink?
Gin and Tonic is my go-to at the moment.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At the theater usually.
