Average (ratings) Abstract AF and heart failure (HF) commonly coexist, and this significantly increases patient morbidity and mortality. Maintaining sinus rhythm is a key treatment goal, as it helps prevent HF progression, improves quality of life and reduces cardiovascular mortality. Catheter ablation (CA) has emerged as an effective and preferred alternative to antiarrhythmic medications for rhythm control in patients with AF and HF.
