Discussion This study highlights the complex relationship between dietary patterns and the DBM among Sri Lankan women aged 15–49 years. The findings reveal an overall DBM prevalence of 57.3% in this population, with 97.9% being non-vegetarian and 50.6% leading a sedentary lifestyle.
