Hello everyone! My name is Devon, and I am a new out-of-state investor based in Southern California, currently focused on the Indianapolis suburbs. My wife and I recently purchased our first duplex and are planning to acquire additional properties this year. I’m here to network with like-minded investors, share experiences, and build new connections. In our duplex, we have a Section 8 tenant and are preparing to place another.

posted 7 years ago Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: My husband has gotten very into hammocks, and has made numerous types for backpacking and backyard use. He sleeps in them overnight when we are apart or when he is camping -- he's even used them while camping in the snow (with a good sleepingbag and some extra insulation to the hammock itself).

teens doing permaculture
posted 7 years ago 1 Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: Hi Matis! I have a year of high school left along with college and scholarship applications to do. So, technically, I am still a teen. I think part of the trouble with doing permaculture as a teen would be that we're just teens; legally, we cannot do anything. Also, depending on parents and their parenting style, we are granted certain levels of autonomy.

I got some of these pics from marisha's video here: http://vimeo.com/42238837 The first pic shows the "instant classroom and kitchen". From left to right: teacher's yurt; sky lodge (with central campfire); the classroom; the kitchen. I think that for a property that does not have the facilities for this sort of thing, this worked out really well.
looking for pics/video of winter chicken coops
posted 9 years ago 1 Number of slices to send: Optional 'thank-you' note: Our chicken setup is fairly static, but the chickens use it differently in summer and winter. If this would fit your idea, or if you want pictures of it for a conventional contrast, we're up for it. It belongs to my in-laws, so I just help with barn chores occasionally. Their main coop is insulated, they always have access to outdoors, and to the covered feed and 'play' areas.
