The philosopher Schopenhauer had an idea he called ‘The Illusion of Separation.’ By this he meant that we spend most of our lives walking around with the impression we’re more separated than we really are. In truth, we are much more connected to each other than we think. On Aug. 30 people will gather at the Pop Up Park in New Canaan for the second annual Overdose Awareness Vigil sponsored by the New Canaan Parent Support Group and the New Canaan Community Foundation.
