Interview
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Like the machine with keys that, when pressed, print letters, numbers, or other characters onto paper? Yes, when I was a child. LOL
How is social media changing news?
Social media is reshaping the way people consume news, but not always for the better. With algorithms prioritizing engagement over accuracy, biased reporting and outright falsified stories spread faster than ever. Rage-bait headlines fuel division, drawing reactions rather than informed discussions. Unlike traditional journalism, where fact-checking is a core principle, social media allows misinformation to circulate unchecked, as few take the time to verify sources. As a result, people are increasingly trapped in echo chambers, reinforcing their existing beliefs instead of being exposed to balanced, well-researched reporting.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist means to seek and share the truth in an authentic and genuine way. It requires a deep commitment to research, ensuring that every story is based on verified facts rather than assumptions or misinformation. A journalist must dig beyond surface-level information, question sources, and cross-check details to present an accurate and fair account of events. Authentic journalism is not just about reporting what happens—it’s about uncovering deeper truths, amplifying voices that need to be heard, and holding power accountable. At its core, journalism is a responsibility to the public, built on integrity, curiosity, and a relentless pursuit of the facts.
What's your favorite social network?
Pinterest is a favorite social network because it offers a peaceful, drama-free space where users can focus on inspiration, ideas, and creativity without being overwhelmed by politics or negativity. Unlike other platforms that thrive on debates and trending controversies, Pinterest is a place for discovery, allowing users to find exactly what they need—whether it’s educational resources, home decor ideas, recipes, or personal development tips. It’s a highly engaging platform where content is evergreen, meaning pins continue to gain traction over time. Since is my number one source of traffic, it’s clear that Pinterest’s audience values the type of content I create, making it an ideal platform for connection and growth.
