The BCMA × CD3 bispecific T cell engager teclistamab has demonstrated efficacy as monotherapy in patients with heavily pretreated relapsed and/or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and, more recently, in combination with the anti-CD38 antibody daratumumab after 1–3 prior lines of therapy. However, the widespread inclusion of daratumumab in first-line regimens highlights a need to test options for patients with disease refractory to this agent and lenalidomide at first relapse.
