1 Introduction Intensive care units equipped with many medical devices to support the patients' organ functions [1]. These devices have alarm systems designed to make abnormal physiological conditions noticeable [2]. Alarm systems provide visual and audible warnings when deviations from the set value ranges occur [3]. The increasing number of clinical alarms from multiple medical devices, however, has become an important problem in intensive care units (ICU) [2, 4].
