In our sample of twelve public hospitals, a total of 18 948 cases were reported with CKD diagnosis in 2019. This represents 8.3% of all cases nationally with CKD. Hospitalization cost analysis has been stratified according to hospital types as shown in Table 3. The highest costs have been reported in county hospitals (€1 032.1 and 670.5 mean and median, respectively, Table 3).

Background We are the first to evaluate the prevalence of renal artery stenosis (RAS) in consecutive patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) referred for primary percutaneous coronary intervention from a single tertiary center. As a novelty, we assessed hydration and metabolic status and measured arterial stiffness. We elaborated a predicting model for RAS in AMI.
