1 Introduction Visible-light photocatalysis has recently become a topic of great interest for the generation of intricate molecular architectures from simple precursors [1-4]. These reactions employ photocatalysts for the in situ generation of radical intermediates, enabling a mild radical coupling pathway to synthesize novel compounds. Lewis acids are known to modulate the excited-state behavior of substrates, enabling otherwise inaccessible reactions and controlling product selectivity [5].
