KBAK/KBFX McFarland Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Chevron gas station on Dec. 26. Officers responded to the scene at 100 West Sherwood Ave. around 8:33 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident. Surveillance footage revealed three suspects arriving in a dark gray Kia Optima with black rims. The suspects, armed with firearms, entered the business and executed the robbery.

(KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified Vicenta Martinez De Garcia, 70 as the woman killed Saturday as she crossed the street. Officers responded to H Street and Isil Avenue just before 8 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian that was hit by a driver.

Bakersfield Police Department is trying to determine who shot and killed a man Monday morning in south Bakersfield. A ShotSpotter was activated at 1:47 a. m. in the 200 block of Union Avenue. When officers arrived they found a man with major injuries.
