Dan has been following MMA since the first Ultimate Fighting Championship in 1993. He holds a second-degree brown belt in Kenpo Karate, a blue belt in Taekwondo, orange belts in Judo and Hapkido, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under two-time world champion Matt Jubera. He also has training in Muay Thai, Kali Escrima, and Kuntao Silat. Dan has an M.B.A. in Finance and Investment Management and a B.S. in Horticulture. Prior to joining Combat Press, his work appeared on The MMA Corner.
