Dom Einhorn’s Biography

Dom Einhorn is the founder and CEO of Masters of Trivia, a global edutainment platform he started in 2005 and which today serves more than 300,000 monthly players across 196 countries. The company operates under Intelligent Games LLC and is based in Boerne, Texas. Masters of Trivia was selected for the HundrED Global Collection 2026.

He was born in Wissembourg, in northern Alsace, and is a Franco-American dual citizen. Alsatian was his first language, and the disappearance of it is the subject of most of what he writes. He speaks six languages, has visited 134 countries, and competed for years on the European Scrabble and quiz circuits before moving to Texas in 1996.

He writes in English, French, German and Spanish, most often on language policy and minority languages, European history, and the craft of writing quiz questions. He has also written on investing, with a particular interest in dividend growth strategies, M&A, and alternative assets including art and wine.

His French-language blog, Des deux côtés de la frontière, is published on Mediapart. Earlier business and finance writing appeared in Born2Invest. A German-language essay on the Alsatian and Moselle Franconian languages, and their exclusion from the 1951 Deixonne law, is forthcoming in Die Rheinpfalz.

He is available for comment on quiz and trivia formats, edutainment, language loss in Europe, and multilingual content strategy.
