Everyone has some form of social media. News outlets are constantly joining new forms of media to ensure they every single person is informed
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means everything when you know you’re informing your community. Whether it be with local news, entertainment news, etc.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Adobe Premiere Pro

Who do you wish followed you?
Naz Perez, she is one of the best entertainment journalists I have come across.
Why did you become a journalist?
I fell in love with the profession when I went to SJSU. I also loved how it helped me step into the entertainment industry.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Not high school but college! I was a staff writer for the Spartan Daily at SJSU and eventually became a copy editor.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
KEEP GOING! There have been so many times I wanted to give up but I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t push through the hard parts.

NOW!
What's your favorite drink?
WATER! Especially if it’s out of my hydro flask :)
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At the gym! Pilates classes are my favorite. I also love to read a good book at the park or beach!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
E! News…can I say that now that I don’t work there anymore?
