Emergency Services at the scene of the incident | Brendan Gleeson Around 20 passengers were on the Route 332 Bus Éireann service for Limerick to Cashel via Newport Emergency Services are attending the scene of road traffic collision involving a Bus Eireann vehicle and a car in County Limerick this Friday morning. It occurred on the R503 Newport Road - a couple of miles from the Mackey Roundabout - at around 10.30am.

BREAKING: Arson attack on home in leafy Limerick suburb

EMERGENCY services attended an arson attack at a house in a leafy Limerick city suburb in the early hours of this Saturday morning. Gardai responded to the scene on the Father Russell Road in Raheen at around 3am. It is believed that an explosive device was thrown at the home. The front of the building is thought to be extensively damaged, however, no injuries have been reported currently.

Ireland’s top cyclists ready to roll into Limerick village

THIS SUNDAY, April 12, sees Ireland's top cyclists roll into one of Limerick’s most scenic villages as the Kilteely Grand Prix takes place once again. A field of over 200 cyclists is expected across two races starting from 11am in the village that was once synonymous with a sadly-missed soapbox derby. The race is unique in that it takes in the gruelling inclines of Knockroe and Kilteely which makes for an exciting and pulsating event.
