Layered Si2Te3-based anodes for high-performance Li-ion batteries We develop a scalable solid-state synthesis for Si2Te3 and its carbon composite (Si2Te3@C) to address the challenges of silicon-based anodes in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The Si2Te3@C composite exhibits enhanced electrochemical performance, including high reversible capacity, excellent cycling stability, and improved rate capability, positioning it as a promising candidate for high-performance LIB anodes.
