Connecticut State Trooper ramming fleeing car called unjustified in 2025 chase: Report

In a report from the Inspector General's office a state trooper's actions in a vehicle chase in November 2025 on Thursday, were deemed unjustified, however the investigator did not recommend prosecution. Eliot Prescott, the Inspector General, said the use of deadly force, in this case ramming the car, was not justified. But, Prescott concluded that he should not be criminally charged.
