Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I learned to type on a 1950s manual typewriter before transitioning to an electric model while in High School

It Skews the truth by not showing the whole story and not educating society like news was originally meant to do

Why did you become a journalist?
After sustaining injuries during combat operations in Iraq I changed my MOS to Public Affiairs Journalist so I could tell stories from Iraq

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't burn bridges. It will put you outside of the circle of trust

To cover a riot which turned out to be four people protestiing
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Someone came into my office claiming to be the president of the united states and it was his birthright to lead the country out of peril
