EDWARDSBURG (WKZO AM/FM) -- Reports of chlorine leaking from a train car as it rolled through southern Michigan triggered the mobilization of emergency and hazardous materials teams Saturday evening. The train was stopped in an industrial park outside of Edwardsburg near Krause Road in Ontwa Township and emergency Crews from Canadian National Railroad and Berrien County were dispatched to the location to inspect the train. They could find no leak, and the train was sent on its way.

CASCO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) -- A man who rolled his pick-up truck in a field along 66th Street, near 106th Avenue was rushed to Bronson South Haven with life-threatening injuries after he was ejected from the vehicle very early Sunday morning. State Police say Tony Brush was not wearing his seat belt when he left the pavement along 66th Street, the tire dug into the ditch and the truck flipped just after midnight.

BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) -- Battle Creek Police had to use a full body restraint system to secure a man with a death wish who became combative with officers Saturday night. The man was first reported standing in the roadway, refusing to move for traffic on N. Riviera Dr. He fled prior to the arrival of officers, but had soon move over to North Avenue, where he was once again standing in the street, daring drivers to hit him.
