Milwaukee police shot and killed 41-year-old Anthony Virginia on the city’s north side last year, but details about the medical examiner’s ruling leave more questions than answers. The shooting took place March 8, 2025, on railroad tracks near the 5000 block of North 37th Street. Virginia’s family are pursuing a civil suit after officials made a hasty decision to not file charges against the officers, according to Virginia family attorney Will Sulton.

Green Bay mayor to Tom Tiffany: ‘Keep our city’s name out of your mouth’

Republican candidate for governor Tom Tiffany recently appeared on a local radio station and made statements directed at Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich surrounding the 2020 election. President Donald Trump still believes the 2020 election against Joe Biden was rigged and he points to examples in Wisconsin as proof. Tiffany, who can’t afford to lose Trump’s support, continues to fall in line with the president on this issue.

After being arrested last week on domestic abuse allegations, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is back at practice. “I would say business as usual,” head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters June 2. On May 23, police responded to Jacobs’ home in a suburb just outside of Green Bay following a 911 call from inside the home. The 911 dispatcher described “yelling and screaming” on an open line.
