To the editor, Dupilumab is a first-in-class biologic for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Whereas multiple real-world studies confirmed its robust effectiveness and favorable safety in adults,1 routine data on children and adolescents are still scarce.

Every few weeks, new findings on the effects of legalizing recreational cannabis use are published. Thus, the review of Hall and Lynskey 1 – or any review for that matter – can only provide a preliminary summary of the collected evidence to date. Looking into public health effects of le­galization, two seemingly easy indicators may be prevalence and patterns of canna­bis use, as both are potentially linked to health and social problems in the presence or absence of legalization 2 .

Background Cirrhosis develops in <10% of individuals homozygous for the C282Y variant in the homeostatic iron regulator (HFE) gene. Carriage of PCSK7:rs236918 is associated with an increased risk of cirrhosis in this population. Aim To determine if genetic variants significantly associated with the risk of alcohol‐ and NAFLD‐related cirrhosis also modulate the cirrhosis risk in C282Y homozygotes.
