He now reveals Mirage, his debut album under the alias TEJA and made in collaboration with Ampermut and Gobi Desert Collective. The album represents both exploring a new creative direction and a significant personal statement from an artist who fully steps into a sound he has been quietly developing for years. TEJA is the name KSHMR has chosen to distinguish this body of work from his main project.

Aleksandr and Yury Parkhomenko, Matisse & Sadko, were in the studio, stumbled on an organ sound they liked and started playing around with a few chords. The emotion in those chords instantly made the brothers think of one voice, SIX40TWO, the project of British singer and songwriter John Newman. They then sent him the idea and he loved it right away.
