Share As college students, we often have bustling weekends filled with hanging out, making memories, and letting off steam after a busy week. However, after this past Halloweekend, some students noticed that our beloved college town, Canton, seemed to bear the marks of a wild night out. The next day, trash was left scattered on the streets, sidewalks near campus and even creeping into Ives Park. This made me think that it’s high time for a PSA on why keeping our college town clean is so important.

Share Election Day has rolled around again and people in Canton have recently raced to the polls to cast their votes. In a presidential election year with such high stakes, everyone is eager to let their voice be heard. The Canton Fire House was one of the polling sites in town busy with a constant stream of voters throughout the day Tuesday. Despite the fire house being packed to the brim, people were casting their votes in an efficient manner late Tuesday morning.

Share Last Weekend, St. Lawrence Hosted an Exciting Meet on the Ronald C. Hoffmann Championship Course Over the weekend St. Lawrence cross country hosted the Liberty League Championships. The program had not hosted since 2015. Despite heavy rainfall the evening prior the Ronald C. Hoffman cross country course had its records shattered. In the women’s field sophomore Haley Schoenegge fended off challengers from RPI. In turn Schoenegge dipped just below the previous 6K course record, running 20:59.
