How to Bet Ravens vs. Rams (NFL Week 17)
The Baltimore Ravens will host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, and the Ravens are in desperate need of a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Once 8-3 and largely in charge of their own playoff destiny, the Ravens somehow went 0-for-December and now, at 8-7, are on the outside looking in at the postseason places.

Offense "Looks" Better, but Lacks Explosive Plays without Lamar
Ravens Receiving Report – Week 17 It was interesting to watch the Greg Roman offense being operated by an old veteran QB. The ball came out on time. There were open receivers; Josh Johnson was only sacked once. It “looked” like a normal NFL passing game. Johnson completed 70% of his passes, same as Tyler Huntley did against Green Bay, but with a decent yards-per-attempt (7.6, equal to Lamar Jackson’s on the year).
Week 17 National Football League Picks
My Picks Week 10: 3-2 (60.0%) Overall: 40-34-1 (54.1%) BDC Lock of the Week Last Week: 1-0 Overall: 8-7 (53.3%) Week 16 Whiffs: — I thought Russell Wilson would go off a bit against the Bears. He didn’t, and they lost straight up. — I wrote this piece last week before we knew Tyler Huntley would miss the game for the Ravens. I’m not sure Lamar at his best would have made a difference on Sunday for the Ravens though.

He made me pay, but on the bright side, we had a 4-1 week. In what was a big game for Cincinnati to potentially take a lead in the AFC North, they squandered the chance in overtime. — The Ravens’ game looked like a guaranteed Cleveland cover early, but they clawed their way back and barely squeaked out a half-point cover.
The Back Door Cover on Russell Street Report, Week 14
My Picks Week 10: 2-3 (40.0%) Overall: 30-29-1 (50.8%) BDC Lock of the Week Last Week: 0-1 Overall: 6-6 (50.0%) Week 13 Whiffs: — Make that three straight locks whiffed on. So let’s remember now, after an AFC North game, Cincinnati doesn’t show up. Memo received. — Poor Minnesota. Even without Dalvin Cook, a loss to the Lions doesn’t bode well for their playoff chances.
National Football League Week 13 Picks
My Picks Week 10: 2-4 (33.3%) Overall: 28-26-1 (51.9%) BDC Lock of the Week Last Week: 0-1 Overall: 6-5 (54.5%) Week 12 Whiffs: — Two straight locks I have whiffed on. If you would have told me Philly was going to hold the Giants to 13 points, I would have bet the house. — The Rams had an opportunity to make a statement in the NFC with Aaron Rodgers (supposedly) ailing from a toe injury. Instead, they let the Pack put up 38 on them.

Didn’t think so. — I was firmly in covering position in the Bucs/Eagles game until Philadelphia, for some ungodly reason, went for a two-point conversion to make the score 28-22. Convince me someone didn’t have money on that game.

Rock Spring Financial's In the Hood: An Unexpected Clash for AFCN Supremacy
Shawn Hubbard/Baltimore Ravens Print this article We’re officially a third of the way through the NFL regular season, and Week 6 brought with it yet another shakeup in the AFC North. A massive victory against the Los Angeles Chargers courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens highlighted what was a mostly successful weekend overall, save for a disheartening loss in more ways than just the final score for one ball club. Nonetheless, this division remains one of the toughest and most competitive in football.

Out to Lunch: Another Week, Another Record for Lamar Jackson
Print this article Happy Monday, #RavensFlock! It’s yet another “Victory” Monday thanks to our heroes in purple and black, who racked up their fifth consecutive victory after the disappointing start to the 2021 season in Las Vegas. Stomping a mudhole in the Los Angeles Chargers – a team that came in 4-1 in their own right and looking to stake a claim in the AFC – isn’t something many (any?) of us expected, but it’s what we got. Let’s see what everyone is saying about the good guys today.

Ravens Can Beat Teams Through the Air
Print this article The Ravens are a dangerous team with Lamar Jackson. He’s throwing the ball more efficiently than ever and making teams pay for stacking the box to stop the run. Opponents are starting to get confused about how to stop the Ravens. If they shut down Baltimore’s high-powered running attack, Jackson can beat opponents by throwing over the top. Coach John Harbaugh doesn’t like to get too philosophical when it comes to his offense.
Out to Lunch: Lamar After OT Coin Flip - "It's Over"
Print this article Sweet, sweet victory. It’s now Wednesday and I don’t know about you, but I am still major hyped from that Monday Night Football victory over the Indianapolis Colts a.k.a. the traitors. The Baltimore Ravens played an outstanding second half that saw Baltimore overcome a 19-point deficit and win in a game that many had declared over just after halftime. Instead, the Ravens took it all personally and won the whole dang game. It was unreal.

Joey Pulone/Baltimore Ravens Print this article Stock Up Lamar Jackson The Ravens had 523 yards of offense Monday night. Lamar Jackson had 504 of them. He completed 37 of his 43 pass attempts for a career-high 442 yards through the air. He’s the first player in NFL history to throw for more than 400 yards with an 85 percent completion rate or higher.
Baltimore Ravens: Out to Lunch
Print this article For this week’s Bold Predictions piece, I had gone out on a limb and said this game wasn’t going to become a nail-biter. I suppose it’s safe to say I was wrong on that one. It didn’t look like it was going to be that way for a while. In fact, to put it delicately, it looked like the Colts were going to kick the crap out of us. The offense looked lost on their opening few drives, and Jonathan Taylor spent the early portion of his evening gashing our defense.
Knee-Jerk Reactions to 31-25 Win Over Colts
Print this article The Ravens overcame a huge 22-9 deficit in the final quarter on Monday Night Football, rallying to beat the Indianapolis Colts, 31-25. RSR staff react to the victory here… Derek Arnold I’m having a hard time processing what I just watched. The Ravens got their skulls cracked for three-plus quarters on defense, while the offense was snake bitten, with a fumble on the one-yard line. Lamar Jackson put the team on his back and willed them to victory after a slow start.

Two-Minute Drill: Black Jerseys/Purple Pants?! Heck Yes!
Shawn Hubbard/Baltimore Ravens Print this article Only the 2021 Baltimore Ravens could go from a trio of one-score games decided in the final possession to a comfortable win that still includes a controversial play-call to end a game (that really shouldn’t be controversial at all), continuing to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Fantasy Football: Hollywood Will Light Up Monday Night
Print this article Lamar Jackson and the Ravens look to be catching fire, despite an injury riddled season. By tackling adversity and adapting to their situation, they were able to start the season 3-1, including a massive win over the Chiefs, proving all the doubters wrong. Why do I mention this? Because we all can and need to do the same thing in fantasy! This season has been brutal with injuries and if your team has taken as devastating of a blow as mine, you need a pick me up. Some motivation.
Tale of the Tape Jackson's Passing Evolution Continues
Shawn Hubbard/Baltimore Ravens Print this article This is Tale of the Tape: Offense. For Tale of the Tape: Defense, click here. The Ravens walked into Mile High Stadium on Sunday knowing that in order for their offense to be successful, they’d have to establish, and play through, the passing game. A stark contrast to their usual model of running it down the opponent’s throat early and often, but Denver’s stout run defense warranted the change in approach.
