ABSTRACT Corrosion inhibition potential of the water extract of the weedy plant Laportea Interrupta (LIWE), has been studied for the corrosion of SS-410 steel in 0.5M HCl solution. A Soxhlet apparatus used to prepare an aqueous leaf extract. The inhibitory components adsorbing on SS-410 stainless steel followed the Langmuir isotherm model, forming a monolayer.
