This is a cross-sectional study that uses secondary data from dr. Ramelan Navy Central Hospital’s NICU and clinical microbiology department in Surabaya, Indonesia. This hospital is the highest tertiary naval hospital in East Java. The NICU at this hospital has a total capacity of 18 beds and an annual capacity of 810 neonates. This hospital has 12 paediatricians on staff, including one neonatologist and one paediatric cardiologist.
