A substitute teacher walked into a pre-K class somewhere near Dallas. “Gather around,” she told the group of four-year-olds. Then she held up a picture book. “Can we just do it on the screen?” one student said. “That’s what our teacher does.” The teacher went home, but couldn’t get the moment out of her mind.
