Boer is sinds 2018 betrokken bij het landelijk fenomeen Herenboeren. Eerst als kartrekker en vanaf de start ook actief op de boerderij in Assen. Zo’n 500 mensen eten groenten, fruit, eieren en vlees van de boerderij en helpen mee. “Herenboeren is een landelijk concept”, vertelt Henk Boer.
