With two decades in tech PR, my love of writing, personal enthusiasm for technology, an ongoing pursuit of creativity and a desire to mentor all drive my work as a PR professional.
With a strong focus on client service, I actively develop and drive communications strategy and execution for my clients, across media relations, analyst programs and digital and social media, with a focus on content creation. I am currently consulting for a number of technology companies.
Notable clients with which I've worked include SAS, Dassault Systèmes, Sapient, CA, Applause, Spanning (part of EMC), Limelight Networks, XcelleNet (now part of SAP), Progress Software and Virgin Pulse. I have worked with companies of all sizes -- from billion-dollar organizations to seed-funded startups -- in a broad range of industries, including employee engagement; enterprise technologies such as CRM, ERP and analytics/Big Data management; enterprise and consumer mobile; and digital marketing and advertising.
Before joining fama PR in 2003 as employee #2, I was a vice president with Davies-Murphy Group (since acquired by Lewis PR) and Schwartz Communications (now part of MSLGroup). Previously, I was a media attaché for the U.S. Olympic Committee during the Atlanta Games. Coming out of school, I got my start as public relations manager for Disabled Sports USA, an NGO for athletes with disabilities.
I studied marketing and economics at the George Washington University.
I lend my communications skills to youth programs in my current hometown of Newton, Mass. including Newton Little League and the Newton Public Schools, along with the Salomon Family Foundation, an organization providing grants to grassroots organizations focused on family services for underserved populations.
