1. Introduction The main structural element of the skeletal system that allows for movement, muscle attachment, organ protection, and calcium balance is bone. Additionally, bone creates a special milieu for osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and osteocytes [1]. The primary bone cells involved in bone formation and bone resorption are osteoblasts and osteoclasts. The other cell is osteocytes, which are embedded in the mineralized bone matrix [2].
