We write with heavy and weary hearts, but hearts that refuse to give in or give up. We have the profound privilege to serve as clergy and faith leaders in Evanston. We are blessed by the gift of interfaith collaboration and are strengthened by our shared commitment to dismantling injustice. We have participated in and have witnessed the blooming of beloved community that arises out of the hard and honest work of facing our errors and our ignorance with humility, mutual care, and in relationship.
