Boris Johnson has hit out at Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, accusing him of “abandoning” Israel and questioning whether Labour wants “Hamas to win”, following the UK government's decision to suspend some arms exports to the country. On Monday, the British government suspended 30 of its 350 arms export licences to Israel after a review raised concerns that the equipment could be used in a way that could violate international humanitarian law by targeting civilians in Gaza.

A jury at Bristol Crown Court heard he stabbed a man in the back before continuing on and slashing another in the head on February 25.
