Super Eagles’ star, Moses Simon has welcomed new head coach Eric Chelle with a message in French following the Mali tactician’s appointment by the Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday. The Nantes winger took to his X account to post “Bienvenue au Nigeria” (Welcome to Nigeria), becoming the first national team player to publicly acknowledge Chelle’s appointment.

An Ekiti State High Court, Ado Ekiti Division, has sentenced a 26-year-old man, Omodara Dada, to seven years in prison for burglary. Dada was charged in court for robbing the owner of a ₦64,000 phone and ₦8,000 in cash while armed with a knife in 2022. He was arraigned before Justice Lekan Ogunmoye on 19th July 2022 on a single charge of armed robbery, contrary to section 312(2) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2011.
