I believe that social media is changing our news by being sensationalist, and for the most part, it's not fact-checked.

It means being truthful, and providing people with a unbiased view of events.

I use Wordpress, Airtable, Asana, Google documents, Google sheets, and Lightroom. These tools help me be successful as an online journalist.

Because I like to write and reach people.

No, but if I could go back in time, I'd try my best to be on the high school paper.

Not a pitch exactly, but people want to sell me their services to help with clients. I don't have clients.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it is easy and that you just make food, write the recipe, and your done. There is so much more to it than that.
